Worcester Public Library

Items in this collection were loaned from the local history and Worcester Room collections of the main branch, Worcester Public Library in downtown Worcester, and then scanned and digitized by Worcester State College students. Much of this collection is comprised of unbound issues of the Worcester Magazine Illustrated, a beautifully printed publication of the Worcester Board of Trade, in the 1910s. Another large piece of this collection is made up of selected pages from a large, fragile scrapbook made by the children's librarian of the Quinsigamond Branch Library in the 1920s and 1930s. A few others, mainly photographs, are from the "Street Files" folders. For more information about any of these items, contact the WPL reference desk. Their website is http://www.worcpublib.org.
