Title

Vinette Casefile

Description

The Vinette family’s children have been in and out of the day nursery from 1924, to 1926, due to their mother’s mental health, and their father’s inability to provide for their family. All of their children have been admitted to the nursery at one point or another throughout the two year admittance period. Also within the documents there were two referral slips to the “Worcester Society for District Nursing Cancer Clinic”, but it’s not documented anywhere that anyone was suffering from cancer. Another interesting story was that Arthur ran away and was found by a policeman, wandering the street in Somerville. But he wasn’t sent back to the Day Nursery and rather sent to a boarding house by the state.
